Job Properties - Finishing Tab

With the finishing tools, you can make finishing hanging banners, pop-up banners and canvas artwork faster than ever. These tools allow you to prepare banner finishing aspects, including folds, stitch marks, grommet marks and bleeds, in a matter of seconds.

Grommets

Note that grommets are purely visual; the program does not actually command the printer to insert grommets at these locations

Offsets

Specify the distance from the edge of the job to the grommets.

Layout

This section defines how the grommets will be distributed.

By Number If this option is selected, choose the number of grommets you want to have in your job horizontally and vertically. The correct distance between them will be calculated automatically.
By Distance If this option is selected, choose the distance between the grommets horizontally and vertically. The correct amount of grommets will be calculated automatically.
Style

Choose the style of the grommets

With Hole mceclip12.png If selected, the grommets will be white on the inside
Solid mceclip8.png  If selected, the grommets will be a solid color
Color mceclip10.png mceclip9.pngChoose the color for the grommets
Shape Choose the shape of the grommets
Circle mceclip13.png If selected, the grommets will be circles
Rectangle mceclip11.png If selected, the grommets will be rectangles
Diameter

Specify the size of the grommets. This will change to Width and Height if Rectangle grommets are selected.

 

Fold

Use fold to add extra white space around the job.

Margins

Specify the amount of white space to be added

Frame

Select this option to print a line around the added white space

Stitch

Select this option to print a line between the job and the added white space

Style Select the stitch line style. Choose between Solid, Dashes or Dots
Color Select the color for the Stitch line

 

Bleed

Use Bleed to add extra printed space around your design.

Amount

Specify the amount of extra print around the job

Style

Select the desired type of bleed

Repeat The last pixels at the edge will be repeated ProductionJPFinishingBleed.png
Mirror The bleed area will be filled with a mirrored version of the job ProductionJPFinishingBleedMirror.png
Color The bleed area will be filled with the selected color ProductionJPFinishingBleedSolid.png
No Corners

If unchecked, bleed will be added to the corners
